Overview
menuzr (menuzr.com) is a static restaurant-menu directory with no user accounts and no login. This page explains the little data that is collected when you visit, and how third-party services we use — advertising and maps — handle data of their own.
Information we collect
We don't run our own analytics or tracking scripts, and there's nothing to sign up for. Our hosting provider (Cloudflare) processes standard web server logs (like IP address and request timestamps) to serve the site and keep it secure; we don't separately collect or store that data ourselves.
If you add items to a restaurant's order list, that list is stored only in your browser's local storage on your own device — it is never sent to us and we have no way to see it.
Cookies & advertising
menuzr shows ads through Google AdSense. Google and its advertising partners use cookies (including the DoubleClick DART cookie) to serve ads based on your visits to this and other sites. You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google's Ads Settings or aboutads.info. See Google's own advertising and privacy policy for details on how it uses this data.
Maps
Restaurant location maps on this site are drawn with Leaflet using map tiles from OpenStreetMap. Loading a map sends a request (including your IP address) directly to OpenStreetMap's tile servers, subject to OpenStreetMap's own privacy policy — we don't see or store that request ourselves.
Children's privacy
menuzr is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time as the site changes. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
