Dim sum

The Cantonese tradition of small steamed, fried and baked plates (dumplings, buns, rice rolls, ribs) eaten with tea, usually from mid-morning to early afternoon. Dishes are priced by plate size (small, medium, large, special), so a table of four can try a dozen things for the cost of two entrées.

Typical price: $15.95

Half of the 11 restaurants below that list a price charge between $12.35 and $20. Each restaurant counts once, at its lowest-priced version, and only plain dollar prices are counted. Prices come from each menu as it was last checked, so call ahead to confirm.
